3 days ago he's supposedly telling DB's he'll be here next year.

I saw all those shots of Day and Hafley going in-home to each recruit... and thought it meant they were doing work to level, transition recruiting relationship, and keep kids in the program.

But I guess not.

I’m sure most of these kids assumed/were aware Hafley wouldn’t be there for their entire time @ OSU.

Entire time? No. I agree they should be prepared for that.

From the kids perspective this is much better than the coach who announces he is leaving the day after signing day.

You can look at Hafley's comment that he was not taking the job as disingenuous, but if you are in the process of negotiation with the school there really isn't any other answer you can give.
