While things continue to roll in 43210, I thought I’d take a peek at what’s happening north of the Toledo Strip:

As you read this, keep in mind, the things you read are what _they_ are saying about their class as they roll in. Rather less than ecstatic praise as you read things like:
* Blocking skills need development. Multi-year starter at Top 15 program. Day 3 NFL draft potential.
* Day 3 NFL draft potential.
* Should develop into a Day 3 NFL draft pick.
* Could develop into a Day Three NFL draft pick.
* Free agent NFL potential.
* Still looks skinny right now... has the attributes to play beyond college.
And I realize, that’s not bad for a lot of programs. Most programs, really. But not when the gap continues to widen with each signing class and with each year that talent development trajectories continue to differ significantly between the programs.
The only way I see the current steak ending is if someone completely takes the eye off the ball.
