Do you think Kentucky gives a [Mark May] that not all of those appearances were as a 1 seed? Or do they just sell their prestige to recruits and keep adding to their legacy? If you're not trying to get to the tournament then you're doing it wrong. Saying the tourney is not important is a coping mechanism. I'm not big on coping mechanisms.

All I'm seeing from that is that we make the final four 40% of the time. I'm good with that. Let's keep that up.

It's important to get in the tourney just to give yourself a chance to make some noise. OSU is beyond the point where a rebuilding year is at all positive.
