I think Mick and his methods might be … part of the problem… seems like our S&C is lacking severely …

I can't think of a stretch like this where there's questions in toughness/strength across the board under Urban. There were plenty of questions about technique and just not playing well, but any issues with getting manhandled was generally an individual issue, not necessarily an "everyone" issue like this seems to be. That's why I ask if Day has messed with what he was doing, to go along with his NFL mindset.

We're never going to be able to run the ball consistently out of a spread formation unless/until we have a running QB.

And it's just not feasible to have a part-time power running offense to supplement the base spread offense.

What frustrates me is CJ can run it, he just doesn't want to do it.

A little, if he can run straight ahead or big swooping swirls. Like the early scramble.

He's not good at all laterally, regardless of want to. He's the slowest QB other than Haskins in 22 years.

He's the anti JT. He's magnificent at waiting and sneaking late throws into would be sack situations (if anyone bothered to catch the ball today, they'd be up 14-7 in a sleeper). He's woeful at picking up small chunk yardage in slopfests like this.
