Game Thread tOSU @ Minnesota, Nov 15th @ 12p ET, ABC/WatchESPN

I hate to break it to you but this wasn't the best team Minnesota has lost this season. Ladies and gentleman I introduce to you the TCU Horned Frogs. IMO, they are the reason OSU will NOT be finishing in the final 4.

Now back to the Wild at least commercials haven't ruined that sport for me.

Yeah the Wild. I'm glad they are in the same division as St. Louis, Nashville and Chicago so those teams can grind up those overpaid Wild prima donnas. Cal Clusterfuck was the perfect Wild player. Big mouth but no balls.

I liked this game today. Minnesota lost. Minnesota lost for the 37th time in the last 39 games these two teams have played. No wonder Gopher fans are proud they only lost by a touchdown.

Oh, I see now. You don't have anything to say, you just like seeing yourself saying it.

Fool me once.

Carry on.
What I said from the beginning is that we will need some losses from teams above us and I've said i think that will happen. So please stop arguing with me. This didn't help in relation to TCU. You don't agree, be my guest. I think you are wrong. I also doubt very sincerely that if the shoe were in the other foot and we won by 24 at home and they won by 7 at Minny that this would be the same discussion. BTW, that's not me saying that I don't think we would beat TCU, But the committee will see things through a different lense than that.

Congrats on the win you guys were the better team. I hope Buckeye fans who were there enjoyed the city and stadium and we're treated well by Gopher fans. I will cheer for you guys hard going forward. You're carrying the Big Ten flag, now go kick some ass on the National level and make us proud.

Kill's done an amazing job there. Hope his health stays enough for him to keep that program in the right direction.

@4four4 That's how you do it.

@GoldyGopher I like Minny's team. Tough and they never quit. Kill is building something special up there.

Well then goddammit, don't be fuckin bitter.

See how that's done? And yes, your first post was very bitter and self-serving. Not a way to get a positive, non-swearing, result.

And we CHOOSE POSITIVITY here, btw.

I have to be honest I never thought the Gophers were going to win everybody around currently just want to see a competitive football team. We are not asking for to much but at the end of the day this is Vikings country. Many of us like college football but we don't LOVE college football. OSU was the better team but surely they are not in the same breath as anybody in the top four this year. I would love to see a Big Ten team win the National Championship I just don't believe we will see it for some time in the near future.

Sorry you can't play the what if game. Everybody here said the weather wasn't going to be an issue and they were right. But here you come on and start talking about the weather. Can't have it both ways.

I'd actually point more to TCU facing Minny in week two after facing Samford in week one...wonder who the Frogs prepared for over the prior 8 months?

Kill has it rolling. If his health stays regulated, Minny could become a serious player sooner than later.

One fumble trying to stretch the ball over the endzone line and a fumble on a punt return at the 20 or something like that.
Yep just saw the play by play. Fumble at the 2 yard line into the endzone for a TB and then a fumble recovered at the 14 for an easy TD. That's 2 games in a row where fumbles makes the score not indicative of the game. Should have beat mSU by 4 scores and now Minn by 3 scores.

If you show me where I ever said weather would be no factor, I'll acknowledge the validity of your argument. And I'm not "playing the what if game," I'm pointing out that from a line of scrimmage standpoint, Buckeyes dominated your Gophers more completely than the Frogs did.

TCU is a good team, but they're not as good as Ohio State. In all honesty, not sure either team belongs in the playoffs, though.
TCU throttled the Gophers with their speed and wasn't even close. Either way the TCU loss will likely come into play when the committee decides who does and does not make the semi-finals.
