I'd disagree about "played like complete [Mark May]." Other than the misguided arm punt call and the damn fumble going into the end zone, the O pretty much imposed its will. Clean up the mistakes, and we're ok. Defense, well, that's borderline "[Mark May]." Probably should have at least 3-4 Cosby's, but I've been slacking so...
Cosby Count-4
Yeah, I can't see how anyone would make a comparison between this game and the TCU game. One is being played in snowy, 15 degree weather and the other was at TCU's place.
Now the bull[Mark May] talking heads talking about how it's worse than it really is I'm sure.
Game isnt really close on the field. The scoreboard, yes. The actual game play, no. Just sell out on the run and take your chances. I definitely think we can play 0 coverage on them and should blast the LOS.
Shutting down the run game means selling out and forcing the long ball. I'd wait for a larger lead before getting to aggressive. I'm not worried about the D. Two TDs, one with less than half a field to play. That's not a bad half. Offense has to lean run and go long when it's given. No turnovers in this half and we win going away.D absolutely has to come out at the half firing on all cylinders and shut down the run game to give our offense the chance to get the ground game going and build a lead. As for the offense, stay away from anything long through the air.
We have 352 yards of offense, so the weather is no excuse. We simply cannot turn the ball over and leave points on the field.
IF you think that's going to stop any of the morons at E$$$ECPN you're high.
The weather does impact the passing game, and it also doesn't help ball security, tackling or accuracy, which can lead to missed tackles and turnovers. We have 352 yards of offense, so the weather is no excuse. We simply cannot turn the ball over and leave points on the field.

By both teams dealing with it, you mean Minny is avoiding it.The only thing the weather is truly affecting is vision on finding the ball as a receiver, IMO. Outside of that its an excuse because both teams are dealing with it.
I'm not talking about the 2 minute drill. You cannot come out off the bat and expect to have a QB from texas sling the ball around the yard.
