I haven't seen enough of McCord to have a feeling one way or another. Day's track record with QBs has me leaning towards we should be fine in that regard. There are other areas that have been slowly coming to light during Day's tenure that are much more concerning to me than QB.

2. Just a SWAG here; because, when the LBs are not blitzing, they're going back into pass defense. So against Tag, Sean Clifford, and presumably McCarthy, you have to think contain first, sack second because there's nothing between you and 20 -30 yds of the field if he gets outside the contain.

It seemed like Maryland stopped double teaming Julian when Dallan replaced TreyVeon and started moving the ball with the run game. Then Fleming and Emeka started consistently catching passes and we got them on their heels a lot more.
