I think this year's "performance" has shown that if anything, the only reason last year's team did ANYTHING was because of Aaron Craft, despite his limitations.

We're a border line tourney team at this point. Almost 2/3 through the season with 0 quality wins. The rest of the season only presents 2 potential ones, Maryland (okay, not a big resume booster) and Wisconsin and both are at home. Too much talent to have these kinds of results, both from a player and coaching stand point.

Our Seniors this year promised more as I recall..were upset with all of Craft's praise...have only delivered against the weak...

He was out there but played sparingly.
But this team may just not be all that good? The entire team is basically Russell and our on-ball defense is horrific for the most part. The real stinger is the way we are shooting the ball...the EXACT same shots we hit against weaker opponents never go in against the good opponents. 100% mental and Iowa did not even play good defense today, we just missed shot after shot...painful to watch. Usually when football is over, I am still excited to watch Buckeye basketball. To be perfectly honest, I am basically watching out of obligation at this point. If these guys do not pick it up soon and I mean SOON, the only tournament we will be in is the NIT.

As much as I hate to say it but the current senior class is not very good. But the biggest disappointment has to fall on the BIGS! Williams, McDonald, and Lee are not good at all. Weak in all facets of the game. If ONE of them were worth a damn, it would take pressure off the guys on the perimeter. Hopefully the BIGS coming in next year will help make this team better (Giddens and the transfer from VT..name slips my mind). I find it hard to believe that that David Bell could not out play any of these guys.
