I don't want to hear anything about "any win is a good win" or "just be happy to get the W". This was awful. Pure awful. Sloppy mistakes, fumbles, bad reads, no discipline, just awful football from a team that should have superior athletes. And we appear to be VERY uninspired and lethargic. This is not the same team that we watched in January.

With that last statement in mind, it's definitely a different team. Different personnel matters a lot. On the field AND in the booth.

We beat an undefeated team in their stadium. MSU almost lost to a pedestrian Purdue team. Still early on but Florida is beating Ole Miss 13-0. We will lose some first place votes but no way should we drop in the polls. We are this years Florida State.

I'm sorry but what exactly did Cardale do bad at the end of the game? He wasn't the reason Jalin dropped that ball and he throw before that was a beautiful toucdown. The OC should be getting all the pressure for refusing to throw it at the end not Cardale.

Ranking doesn't matter, and there's still ample time to put it all together. Sure, this game was a bit like having a colonoscopy without the med that helps you forget the procedure, but it's a matter of history now.

On to the next one. We may not be a deserving #1, but no one else has stepped up to take it away from us yet. Ole Miss? Nope. MSU? Nope. TCU? Eh, maybe, but who cares either way. Keep winning and hope the rest comes together.

Think Auburn, Alabama, or Georgia would take a win like this?

Yes they would.

Am I happy with the performance, No.

Do I think we can make the playoff playing this way, .........no.

I trust the team to improve but am growing more apprehensive by the week.

Think about it even farther, every team in the country would gladly trade records with Ohio State over the last year and 5 games. Also, Urban has yet to lose a B1G (regular season) conference game.
