There's a reason Illinois only has 4 fouls in the first half, one of which was intentionally committed.
My wife and I (we watch most of the games together) are amazed Ross never seems get the calls when he goes inside.This isn't something that's just tonight, though. For some reason most drives like that by Ross don't draw a foul this season in conference. You can't tell me that with at least two players hacking at the ball right before he goes up that more often than not no foul is committed. And it seems to just be Ross, because Craft gets a call the majority of the time he drives into traffic like that. Is it Ross' sloppy handling of the ball, or what?
To just be down 3 the way this game has gone is better than I would have expected, though. I'll take that, just come out swinging in the 2nd half and play smarter to cut out some of those silly fouls.
