I spent an entire day in Dec 2018 at the LA County Arboretum on a day when they got almost 2 inches of rain. About 55 degrees out. Every single piece of clothing was soaked through by the end if the day, even with a waterproof jacket on. One of the most miserable days I’ve ever spent outside.

The good news was that we had the entire place to ourselves because nobody else was stupid enough to be out in it.

I lived there from 2013-2015 in Orange County and it barely rained. Like maybe 5 times during that span. It was nuts.
