Game Thread tOSU at Texas, Sat. Sept 12, 7:30 pm ET, ABC

The whole season is now the IU, USC, Oregon stretch and now Oregon is a liability.

I know Iowa is tricky and The Game is The Game but it's those 3 games and the jury is still out on USC.

Don't have some kind of Purdue/Florida game and win one of IU/USC and we should be fine for playoff.

I get having flashbacks about @ Iowa. But that offense is looking putrid even by Ferentz standards. I'd be very surprised if we were in any real danger to lose that game.

When it comes to getting Purdue'd, that's one thing that Day hasn't done yet, fairly confident we don't blow chunks against Illinois, Maryland, Northwestern or Nebraska.

Everybody calmed down yet?? Because I am feeling very hopeful and good about this team.

I think this team is talented enough to win it all for sure.

They were beating up a top 5 team in hostile territory, with 100 degree heat temps on national tv for 3 quarters. It all boiled down to a couple missed plays, however, the only pause I have is Day will stay aggressive and get out of his head.

I still worry that this gives the team a mental problem for the rest of the year. Hopefully they come out and blast Kent State on Saturday because it's not going to help the psyche if they come out and lay a sludge fart that has the boo birds coming out.

There is still some fuss but we have ways of getting people to calm down and get ahold of themselves.

Like it felt during the game they played a crap ton of WR's probably went too deep. Some of that was the whether I assume some of that was the score making them thing they good away with more but that's a lot of back WR snaps and we probably went too deep which is the opposite of hartline playing the number 1s in the 3rd quater up 35 vs rutgers.

Also Bey getting no run in the 3rd was weird
