This team is getting better…. each week since the defensive staff shake up has looked a little better. The resting of Stroud was smart for a few reasons.

The O Line and Trey will begin to define this years offensive identity and that will actually stabilize Stroud and the passing game.

Through four games, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights are allowing just 13.5 points per game and 262.8 yards per game. This includes a 20-13 loss on the road at Michigan. Now, Rutgers will face their first real defensive test vs. an Ohio State team that comes in averaging 43.3 points per game and 559.3 yards per game of total offense. I do believe that Rutgers' defense will keep Ohio State's offense in check enough to keep this total from going over. As for Rutgers' offense, the Scarlet Knights have struggled to score on the season, posting just 17 points in a win over Syracuse and 13 points in a loss at Michigan. I think Ohio State wins this one by a score of 35-17, keeping this one under.
