Our defense really, really needs to show the fuck up. If they do...if Hankins and the line can knock the shit out of McGroin and the LBs and DBs don't give up stupid, big plays, I'm pretty certain that we can blow these fucks out. Wish I shared the optimism. They actually do have a good defense....especially a good run defense. With the way our defense gives up yards in bulk, it doesn't matter that their offense is all smoke and mirrors. D better show up.

A good indicator of where Penn State's mind is will be this weekend. They could lose to Iowa because they circled our game a long long time ago.....that's how they are. Of course, they could lose to Iowa because somebody decided to cover the TEs and get to the edges on WR screens. I just don't trust Iowa to be able to beat them the way they should (the way NW and Illinois should have, also).
