tOSU at Notre Dame, Sat. 9/23, 7:30pm EST, NBC

The sequence of ND running for 11 yards. Then going play action QB draw (??), then screen pass batted down (???)…criminal.

ND had every option to ice the game with straight runs.

Bucks were on the lucky end. I’m happier with a win than a loss, though.
I thought they were going to ram it down our throats until the clock hit zero.

You look at Kyle McCord's stats and compare his to 6 year player and Heisman candidate Sam Hartman; McCord really played a pretty good game:

Hartman: 17/25, 175 yards, 7.0 ave, 1 TD, 0 Int
McCord: 21/37, 240 yards, 6.5 ave, 0 TD, 0 Int

Plus McCord "engineered" the final drive completing several key passes which put Chip Trayanum in position to score the game winning TD with 1 second remaining on the game clock.
That last drive was Kyle stepping into the shoes of Stroud, Fields, Haskins, etc...

I'm confused. People are mad about this? Want coaches fired? The Buckeyes just beat the #9 team in the country. So it took 60 minutes to do that. So what? The #1 team should be happy about this win.
Now, if I'm Ryan Day (and I'm glad I'm not), I watch the game and look for ways to improve. But I'm a fan. This is Matt Sylvester hitting that shot to beat Illinois in about 2001 or something. This is in the same ballpark as Holy Buckeye, and beating Cincinnati that year. This is Frey throwing the touchdown (was that Bobby Olive) to neat Iowa.
This was a win over a top 10 team. Go sit with the NBC announcers and cry in a circle, or whatever.
THIS!!!
