Big win, but like coach Saban said, you can't let it stop you from looking at the oil leaking under the car. That said, that's a topic on the offensive and defensive shortcomings from tonight that can be addressed later. Tonight? Celebrate the moment and getting the dub.

Somewhere in that next place, my Irish Catholic grandma from Cleveland was just happy to see a good game. I'd like to hold onto that feeling of warmth and memories from a better time gone by.

Sleep well, Buckeye Nation. Be safe traveling back home.

Honestly, I understand where some of the frustration comes from.

That being said, we won the damn game. Countless times during the Urban Meyer era we as fans experienced games like this, painstaking watches (albeit wins) that frustrate us to no end. Penn State 14, 17, 18 just to name a few, not to mention the ass whoopings that Iowa and Penn State doled out to us.

I'm over the narrative that things were perfect with Urbs. Several years saw squandered opportunities for national championships and playoff appearances. He was also lucky as shit to only have to deal with two Michigan teams that I would categorize as "good". That being said, as a fan, I appreciated Urban's time here regardless, he brought and incredible amount of consistent success and set the program up as a threat for years to come. Same goes for Tressel, there were times where you would have sworn coaching held back incredibly talented teams from achieving more. Still loved what he did for the program.

Also not sure who the hell you would replace Day with? The only option I would even think would be remotely entertaining would be Vrabel, but that's a pipe dream.

The negativity around here has gotten waaay too pervasive. It wasn't perfect, and frankly it's almost never going to be, we're lucky enough to be fans of a team that can compete on an elite national level year in and year out.

Im all for honest analysis of a program/team, I myself was not particularly bullish on this team early on, but tonight they showed guts, and to me, at this point in the season, guts is enough.

If you can't appreciate and enjoy a top ten win, on the road, against the fucking domers???? You're not appreciating the fun part of this whole thing. I think we as Buckeye fans have a tendency to lose perspective.

Sorry if this came off as preachy.
Some people now, would lose their shit during the Tressel era.

Am I right in saying that people are saying Hartman may be the #1 quarterback? I know it's too early to say it, but it's never really too early to say it. So if that's right, and the Buckeyes held him to 14 points, I'd say that's pretty fuckin' awesome.
Caleb Williams and the kid from UNC are 1 & 2. Whoever drafts this kid is an idiot. NFL QBs don't stay in college for 12 years. He's a really really good college QB......just not today, and probably not against a good team.

I agree with most of this. But let me tell ya...a win against ttun would do a lot to quell the negativity. That game is where every Buckeye coach's (and players) bread is buttered. Hopefully Day turns the tides this year.
