It's a tough offense to defend, but a better executing QB would be killing us.

Darron Lee is supposed to be covering the pitch man, but he keeps getting sucked in leaving the pitch wide open. If he stays with the pitch, Perry can cover the middle.

To combat the option that Navy is running, you need to spread out your backers, not back your backers up. You concede the 2nd level when you do that.

The high school I went to and follow might be the most prolific triple team Ohio has seen for the last 25 years...when we see that defensive alignment our FB usually goes for lose to 250-300 yards. We welcome it...and sadly, Kerry Coombs should know better because he was the damn coach.

Until Navy proves they can pass efficiently I would have tackles and MLB on the dive all day long. Ends punishing the QB. Walk up the safeties and have them on pitch nonstop. Make them have to pass at some point.
