Right, but the majority of those yards came on the very next play after the defensive score. If it was the amount of time they were on the field that allowed the extra yardage, were we one play away from them breaking a big TD run when the fumble happened?Ok. OSU started the third on defense, then scored while on defense, then stayed on defense, then got a one play break before going on defense.
The point simply was out of the first 32 plays, the defense was out there for 28 of them.
I don't disagree that being on the field that long is a factor, but if we're talking strictly number of snaps....it was the very next play.
