Game Thread tOSU at Iowa, Sat Nov 20, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN

The relevance is that it's a pattern. Also like the pattern, outside of the great win over Oregon, of not being able to beat a top out of conference opponent. The relevance of the SEC is we could easily be in the Sugar Bowl against an SEC team and I wouldn't want another embarrassment. If you can't get a TD in that situation against Iowa, just wait until you go up against a team like Auburn or Alabama, which is all possible depending on how things play out. If you go to the Rose Bowl and play a team like Stanford with the high intensity offense, you're also not going to get wins if you consistently kick field goals.
Ciongrats, you are the poster child for the spoiled OSU fan. There are two, maybe three, programs that have had more overall success than tOSU since Jim Tressel arrived. I pity fans like you.

I hope the coaches don't go for it early on the second drive of the game assuming the defense is awful and has to score TDs every drive to win. I don't know what the fucking problem is with kicking a field goal on the second drive of the game.

We would've scored against Auburn because their defense is awful.

If Stanford had a defense like Iowa they'd be a top 5 team. They don't.

It's still not relevant. The context of the game is what's relevant. A field goal is fine. It's 7-3.

EDIT: I agree that the pattern is troubling, but we're playing Iowa. Field goals are important in defensive games. Be happy we have three, because we were terrible that half.

His use of the word "you" signifies a disconnect from any actual fandom. Seems like a prototypical troll to me.
