The negativity towards Fahey and Bo Jackson has really gotten disgusting.I mean...what do you want Day to say here? "the kid sucked, we might as well have run wildcat with Jeremiah and there's no hope going forward"?

Not at all, Fahey did all he could, and Day handled it well in the presser. The "failed to pick up another first down" with absolutely no context to the gravitas of the situation I find humorous.I mean...what do you want Day to say here? I don’t know man….the lights may be too bright…. I don’t see the moxie /sLet's see how he does with two weeks of preparation and game planning. As a matter of fact he's probably studying USC's defense even as I write this. Luke will put in the work. So will Ryan, Arthur and Billy.
I mean he did vs other teams back ups but today he literally didn’t throw one catchable ball. Literally not one…I don’t know man….the lights may be too bright…. I don’t see the moxie /s
How about, “We put him in a tough situation. He’s a gamer and we’ll have him ready for the challenges ahead.”I mean...what do you want Day to say here? "the kid sucked, we might as well have run wildcat with Jeremiah and there's no hope going forward"?
As it pertains to Fahey, that’s 100% on the coaches. The negativity towards Fahey and Bo Jackson has really gotten disgusting.
There are a lot of issues with the play of experienced lineman that no one is calling out like they are that of an 18 year old freshman QB.I mean I did vs other teams back ups but today he literally didn’t throw one catchable ball. Literally not one…
That’s an enormous issue.
I can think of a bunch of other highly-ranked teams that would love to switch their day with ours. So, we did win a zany game against #5 in the country at their house.
I'm still not that impressed with the Arthur Smith schemes and play calls. Sayin seems to have taken a step back too.
But, there is the lack of a prolific running game, and that has to have a negative effect on the offense being able to dominate, or at the least be more dynamic. Looking at the game now, the secondary gave up a lot of big chunk passing plays. The o-line...
Indy almost always gives us a run for our money lately.
Mixed bag of issues imho.
Would have been what JT said for sure....and probably Urban too.How about, “We put him in a tough situation. He’s a gamer and we’ll have him ready for the challenges ahead.”
Well, no shit. But that take doesn't consider the facts, it's a cop out response to garner some amens.I can think of a bunch of other highly-ranked teams that would love to switch their day with ours.
Some people are perpetually miserable.Well, no shit. But that take doesn't consider the facts, it's a cop out response to garner some amens.
I mean it depends… if Siereveld is back that’s a big boost.I was emotional during the game and was critical of Sayin. Getting hurt seemed sort of inevitable with how much he was getting hit. I dont understand why year in and year out our offensive line is suspect. Fahey + our line + our average running backs does not seem like a great formula
