yup - in November this could have looked like the Maryland game. This team has come a long way. Illinois could end up being an Elite 8 team again if they get a good draw.

Ohio State needs to go, at minimum, 3-1 over their next 4 games.

Yep. I know it's tough to win conference road games and all that yadda yadda but the stretch of the 2nd half was incredibly frustrating.

Missed opportunities are liable to keep us out of the tourney again. Add this as another one to that list.

Not too worried. We needed Parrish and just ran out of gas late in a tough place to play in our 3rd road game of the last four. Illinois is a much better team when they have that freshman center at 100%. But their HC looks much more like a used car salesman than anything.

If they would have shot the percentage they had on 3's on 2's and shot their 2 pt % from three they would have won easily. Imagine shooting near 50% from 3 pt land, hitting 11 and losing. This on a night where Illinois had a bad 3 pt shooting night.
