Wider splits help the coverage guys release and get downfield easier, is essence the coaches are trying to shore up the punt coverage by getting guys off the line easier.

Probably also told the punter to get the punt off quicker.

Ugggh....didn't like the play calling on offense, and then we almost got a punt blocked. The b10 is a tough conference this year...we have to improve if we want to go undefeated.

Well they let 6 guys through and it was the same with one that got blocked 2 weeks back. 3 can't block 6.

If the O line can't move people.. doesn't really matter much on play calling. We have to get better on 1st down.

Exactly, I expect this to be a swing quarter for us. Plus we get the wind in the fourth, but I don't think it'll come to that.
