It doesn't matter how good our defense plays, if our offense doesn't figure some things out during the bye week and consistently move the ball we will be in trouble.

That is exactly why I said "good shot" and not "guaranteed" :biggrin: Our offense definitely needs to step up against Wiscy.

I had a great time in Champaign this weekend. I'm still in a fog. My favorite moment was when some guy at a bar was "congratulating" me on OSU's win but you could tell he was being a dick about it.

Him: "Man, doesn't it bother you to win like that".
Me: "no, not at all".
Him: "you guys couldn't even throw the ball"
Me: "why would you throw it in 30 mile an hour wind when you don't have to?"
Him: "1 pass is all you guys had"
Me: "yeah, but it was a TD"
Him: "the only reason you guys won was turnovers"
Me: "yup"

I am not sold on Wisconsin's ability to stop the run. Saturday's performance gives me high hopes for when Bucky comes to town. If we can pound the rock like we did against Illinois and play sound defense, I think we have a great shot.

Yeah, I don't know if it was just their D playing a little lazy against an always overmatched IU, or if they are a little soft on the run, but I saw some good runs from IU more than a few times. Same with screens, but I'm not holding my breath for those.

How Wisconsin plays against Michigan State will give me a good idea how their O will match up with the bucks D.

Even if we beat Wisconsin, if Wisky doesn't lose at least one more game, we won't be in the Championship game.

After last year, I'm not sold on Ohio State's ability either. I've noticed this season, we are a little "soft" in the middle. Don't know if this is more due to defending the pass more or not, but I hope we fix whatever it is, within the next two weeks.
