tOSU at Illinois, November 28th, Cancelled

No grand revelation, but a probably a confirmation of numbers hitting that cancellation threshold mentioned in the press conferences around the season restarting. Also, this could say it's a little bigger problem in the area than just the OSU team...

So it all comes back to the lack of leadership in the B1G, which is no surprise to anyone here.

Bummer. If Ohio State does not get in 6 games I heard they won't be allowed to play in the Big Ten championship is that correct ?
Yep...

If I'm being honest I'm not sure I give a shit anymore. We didnt get to play Oregon and had a garbage schedule anyways. The football season just always felt so disjointed and at this point I'm going to assume we will miss 1 more game to not be eligible for the championship game.

We at least have the reputation that we are one of the three best teams. If the committee wants to put Texas AM or Florida or Cincy in over us then serious they should go for it because that's LAUGHABLE and they know that.

Reposting myself...

Remember when Kevin Warren and the Big Ten decided to cancel the football season during warm weather when the coronavirus was trending lower only to reinstate the season later on so that the meat of the schedule would be played during cold weather which all experts predicted the coronavirus would get worse?

There would need to be 3 more non-Buckeye B1G games to be cancelled in order for the average games played for the other teams to get to the level for a 5-game Buckeye team to qualify for the CCG.

edit - as @DaddyBigBucks pointed out, the Minny-Wiscy game tomorrow has already been cancelled, so only two more non-Buckeye games would need to be cancelled. But there are only 12 of those games left after Saturday.

So if the final week in the B1G is 1st vs 1st, 2nd vs 2nd etc. it will be interesting to see a potentially 5-0 OSU team placed behind a potentially 6-2 Indiana team that they beat.
