I couldn't agree more. I lived in Lincoln and loved it. As long as you are in a two person room, you can't beat Morrill or Lincoln. It also take you two minutes to get to the Shoe on Saturdays.

^^

This, people are down on Morrill because of the supposed "distance" to class. But really I think you'll find quite a few classes right their just up the hill in that north campus area. It is far from the off campus party scene but seriously..the quality of your living quarters all of the time>A little bit of a hike on weekends.

Morrill/Lincoln blows south and north campus out of the water imo when it comes to living conditions/space. The bathroom is only shared by the 8-12 people in your suite (4 person rooms were extremely rare when I was there a couple years ago though), but with 2 showers and 3 toilets their is usually no issue, plus the university cleans it for you.

Go for Morrill. A lot of people will tell you it sucks, but I absolutely loved it. If you don't mind having a ton of roommates it's a blast. Just make sure you get a two person room as opposed to the four person.

QFT.

You get used to the walks, and you have a LOT more space than any other dorms.

Also (and I think this is the best feature), you can actually have QUIET IN A DORM. If you sit in your room, and close the bedroom door, and the door to the common room, it can actually be silent. You'l be hard pressed to find peace and quiet while sitting on your bed in any other dorm.

Finally, having campus dining in your dorm has its advantages. When it's cold in the winter, you'll be glad not to need to put on shoes a jacket to get food. I made my way to breakfast in slippers a number of times.
