Whoa - I have never seen Thadd that up-set all my days in watching since he has been there. Was Thadd not happy with Ravenel's play from the beginning of season or was this just a one time good ole _ss chewing

I think it was more a one-time thing given the situation: closeness of the game, the way a "T" @ that moment could have cost them a game and just the plain fact that he missed the bunny and almost compounded it with a boneheaded mistake in pounding the basketball into the floor. And Ravs a Sr., think he expects more out of him @ this point in his OSU career.

Not to pile on, but I keep seeing reference to Ravenel missing "the" bunny and almost getting a T. That bunny was the second one he missed in the two minutes or so of game time leading up to getting chewed out by Matta.

I agree. That has been a problem all year. The bigs have not been finishing strong around the rim. Amir too. He shows glimpses of progress and capable of being explosive above the rim and then disappears for 2 games.

It seemed to me that it had a lot more to do with his mental state at that moment, and very little to do with the fact that he had missed an easy shot.

The thing that most pissed Mata off was that was was calling "Rav! Rav!" as Ravenel went moping down the court and Ravenel wasn't listening. The above gif doesnt show it, but near the end of the ass-chewing Ravenel looked like a little kid getting chewed out by his mommy...

I don't know, Matta looked pissed before Ravenel got anywhere near the bench.
