The refs didn't affect his game. NW fought and played a good game.

They did however make two crappy calls at the end there. One being when the guy grabbed Sullingers arm plain as day and the refs let it go and it lead to a jump ball (Sullinger agreed with me). The second one being the "travel" where Smith turned around into a NWstern sliding into him impeding his progress yet they called a walk. Refs clearly didn't want to upset the home crowd down the stretch.

Holy crap do the Bucks need to find some consistent outside scoring...I hope Thad's boys do nothing but shoot the rock all summer. Glad the boys dominated inside the paint tonight but come tourney time, it may not be pretty running into a team as physical down low who forces the team to have to score from the perimeter.

And Craft traveled right before the pass to DT for a huge 3.
Yes, the travel on Smith was BS.
It's pretty pathetic we have no one to put in for the weak foul shooting Smith.

I really hope NU somehow makes the big dance!

I just don't know how people can be so bad at FT's. I'm not saying I'm some Mark Price at the line, but I can shoot at least 80% from the line, how do these phenomal, talented D1 and NBA player not know how to shoot FTs?

But can you do it after going up and down the floor, rebounding, getting hacked and with thousands of people watching and screaming at you and maybe millions more watching on tv?

Not to be a downer here, but this team really seems to let its foot off the gas when it thinks it has the game in hand. Up 8 with 7 minutes to go at home against UW, and lose. Last night, up throughout the entire game, and let Northwestern come storming back to tie with 7 seconds to go, and then come within a few inches of hitting a half court shot to lose. This team has to find a way not to let teams back up off the mat. That said, a W is a W--on to East Lansing for a shot at the title.
