I don't know. Is Ed Hightower calling the game?
Heh, God I hope not. I hope Thad makes them all watch the last matchup tonight to get them fired up. This team is focused and playing really good ball, so I think they pull it out. I just wish the Illini would have played them harder today.

Everyone knows that the major key to this game (and all other games for that matter) is to score more points than your opponent.

While on vacation I read Magic Johnson's book (below) and he said that the 3 major keys to the game are defense, defense, and defense.

He won 5 NBA championships with Lakers. Imagine how many more championships he could have won if he only knew that the real major key to the game was to score more points than your opponent.

My money is on one of the teams going on a run, and the refs stopping play to review the tape in order to take one second off of the shot clock, or to make sure that one point wasn't stolen by having a shoelace on the three point line. Lord knows that we wouldn't want to have any kind of flow to a Big Ten game.

I hope Matta tells them to double lace their shoes. And don't breath on the opponents elbow during a shot.

To be honest, I don't have a very good feeling about this game. I am not saying that Ohio State can't win but it is going to be very very very difficult. I think right now Purdue is probably playing better basketball than MSU and Johnson gives them a better post presence than any player from MSU. I also believe that their bench is deeper and their outside shooting is better and that they have more guys who can shoot the three.

If we don't turn the ball over and rebound, I think we can hold our own but it is going to be an extremely tough game.

Saying that, Go Bucks:osu:!

To be honest I will think we will win until the game ends.
Both teams are playing very well right now and this one will be a great game. I liked the rebounding we have done the last couple of games and that is good for us.
Go Bucks !

Purdue's defense is very intense and we really need not to turn the ball over. I think that that is even more important than rebounding in this game. We cannot get sloppy with our ballhandling or make lazy passes.

I am not saying that we cannot win but we are probably going to have to play as good as we did yesterday and probably a little bit better.
