Game Thread tOSU 21, TSUN 10 (Nov 21, Noon ET, ABC)

In case you were unaware, many UM fans would like to remind you that UM would have won the game without the missed FG & fumbled loaf of bread by Tater. Clearly OSU would have used the same exact gameplan if UM was closer...

UM fans math lesson 101: FG = 3 POINTS, FUMBLED BREAD = 6 PLUS point after = 7, that's 10 points. So they might have 20 points. Buckeyes would have scored to offset the difference. Priceless, we couldn't have scored again their VAUNTED defense! The way Tater was throwing the ball in the last quarter, UM is lucky we didn't take one of those to the house.

I thought I heard this on tv but it was tough to tell, this confirms it.

Yes there were also several renditions of "We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan" among other clever chants

The thing about it is that Michigan fans really didn't even respond..even before the game was decided they just sat on their hands and let us take over their stadium

Since we've seen the "if only" shit start I'd just remind them of a couple of things.

  • Pryor missed a wide open Posey after he had gotten behind the scUM secondary twice. At the point in the game when both occurred it would have really blown it open.
  • Shoelace/noodle dick, or whatever the fuck they call him, fumbled earlier in the drive that Torrence picked off Little Man Tate and the damn ball bounced right back up to him in the middle of 4 OSU defenders.
Now I keep hearing how lucky we supposedly were but I have to ask if we are playing the "if my aunt had a set she'd be my uncle" game...who the fuck got lucky on those 3 plays? If you are going to single out things that could have gone either way look at all of it.

Bottom line is they just suffered a double digit loss....at home....in front of a solid 1/4 Buckeye crowd....in the 106th edition of The Game and they are happy because it wasn't worse.

You could just as easily look at a drive chart for the game. When the Buckeyes needed to answer, they answered. Otherwise, it was TresselBall all the way. That is why the guys on the Big Ten Network referred to it as an easy win. The Buckeyes had it in them to put the game out of reach, and chose to play it the way they always play it so as not to make the mistake that lets the other team into the game.

As '21 said during the game; making them quit was more important than a blow-out.
