Love the team and the effort..but they are hard to watch on the offensive end..imho Craft ran away from the ball because he has no confidence in his shot.

After watching the play again I think Craft was supposed to run to the corner. Scott was to get the ball to the middle of the floor but the defender did an excellent job riding him down the court and keeping him out of the middle. My guess is the pass was supposed to go to Craft in the corner and then back to the trailing Thomas for a three.

The problem is that there was no second option to go to if the first option was covered.

I agree that they are difficult to watch on offense. They don't seem to have a lot of sets or quick hitters.

Here is how the last play was supposed to go down and who said a few games ago that free throws don't cost us games.
Matta said after the game that the plan was for Scott to drive the middle of the floor and find an open shooter to pass to behind the three-point arc. Scott was not made available for an interview after the game.

?Obviously, it?s not exactly how we drew it up,? guard Aaron Craft said. ?But everyone in the gym knows we needed a three, and it?s tough to get off a good three in that situation. Shannon took a shot he thought he had.

?You can?t put any blame on Shannon. A three-point game doesn?t come down to the last possession. Unfortunately that?s what it looks like, but there are mistakes we made throughout the entire game.

?We got down 10-0 early in the game. That?s just as important as that last play.?

So were free throws. The Buckeyes made only 6 of 11 in the second half.

For those of you who want to see more of Ross, he has to get better on defense. He is way too soft to play inside and I do not think that he could guard a perimeter player. If Ross was on the other team and guarded Thomas, DT might score close to 40.

Everyone loves Thompson and I love him too but while he is a good defender and a tremendous athlete he is not a good rebounder and does not bring much offense to the table besides his thunder dunks.

I would like to see more of Scott, Craft, DT, Smith Jr., and either ER/Williams. I don't think that lineup should start because it is too late in the season for that but I think that they should get the majority of playing time.
