tOSU +2.5 at Sparty (ov/un 130.5) Sat 6 ESPN

I give LSJr a lot of crap on here because he has a tendency to disappear for long stretches or reappear and do something awful. However, it needs to be mentioned just how good a rebounder he has become. He gets it done, plain and simple. I had no idea he had 10 boards last game; it seemed more like 5 turnovers and few points but rewatching the game, he was strong on the boards the entire game.

He has to keep this effort up though while his scoring is near nonexistent. Hopefully, Sam's emergence and Craft's offensive contributions keep going or even elevate to higher levels.

BiG road game at the Breslin Center. Going to be very tough.

Yup, I re-watched the sCum game last night and did not realize how many defensive rebounds Smith, Jr. pulled down in the 2nd half. It was almost like he was the only guy that got a defensive rebound in that half. We have to improve in that area in order succeed this season.

Also, when running a high ball screen like we ran on Sunday it is imperative that we get a quality shot because there is no one even close to the basket to get a offensive rebound.

This road game is a good opportunity for OSU to get a quality victory away from home. MSU I feel is not a legit top-25 team at this point. They are deficient in the toughness category this year. But OSU still could lose to them on the road if they play poorly.
