The problem with that is the bracket will probably already be finished before the game is decided. They will have to publish the bracket about 30 minutes after the game ends, and surely there is some time lapse between when they finish the bracket and submit it to CBS to be reported - it's not like the committee is announcing their decisions directly to the public. CBS has to put together their graphic of the bracket, and I'm sure it takes time to type in 68 names, seeds and records accurately (I'm sure there is editing/proofreading to ensure accuracy). You think the committee is going to pay any attention to a game where both teams are already in line for a #2 seed and neither has a case for being one of the top-2 teams in the field? I could see them putting the winner of the game on the #1 line because the Big Ten was the strongest league this year, but I think that's doubtful because they probably don't even consider the outcome of the game in this case.

flipping msu/osu will be easy for the committee. osu and msu are in the same conference and in relatively the same geographic area. tomorrow's game could be for the final 1-seed, though i don't care. just give us some reasonable match-ups. if we're in either cuse or especially uk's region, i'll flip my lid. heck, if we win and are placed in unc's region, i won't be happy either. then again, if msu wins and is given a 1-seed, we'll likely see unc in our region. i'll take that.

I bet they have 2 brackets ready for whoever wins OSU/Sparty....winner gets a 1 seed, book it

Thomas has been shooting the ball incredibly well down the stretch. He has been excellent in the midrange and grabbing the ball and finishing around the basket, now he's hitting his 3s more consistently as well.

They may not value the B1G CCG like they should in their decision, but it won't be because they can't make a graphic fast enough. They can make that in one commercial break.

On my way out the 1997 Rose Bowl - before leaving the stadium - I picked up a tee shirt that proclaimed OSU the victor.

I am sure CBS has a graphic ready for any eventuality.

It's not like they have to paint an end zone. (That has to be done weeks in advance.)

...and then they tear apart the four carbon copies and give them to the captains of their fastest clipper ships, who set sail each direction to spread word of the bracket.

Hard to figure this team out. Lots of talent and when they play well as a team and solid defense, they are a tough out for anyone including Kentucky. Really great to see Sully take Matta's words to heart. As Sully goes, so goes the team. Meanwhile, as others have noted, Diesel is really coming on strong late this season. When he is shooting well, he's so hard to defend because he also moves so well to find spacing.

To really make a run, we will need Buford to gain confidence and somehow Craft must find a way to generate some offense. As much as I love Craft, I really hope he finds a way to be a bit more aggressive going to the basket.

You think they sit down and decide every single graphic they're going to use for a game even an hour before? No, they're all templates and they have every imaginable piece they could want to plug in ready to go or selectable from a database of some sort. It would be ridiculously easy to go through and pick 68 team names from a database and have them properly placed in maybe 10 minutes (with logos and other images), if even that. I mean, half the field is pretty much already selected, so it's just a matter of putting them into the right slot, which is ridiculously trivial.
