Cincinnati-UConn men's basketball game postponed to Sunday because of snow storm

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) A winter snow storm grounded the Cincinnati men's basketball team in Ohio, forcing the game at No. 13 Connecticut to be postponed until Sunday.

Cincinnati is not able to get out today, Kyle Muncy, a UConn spokesman, said Saturday.

The game has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday. It was slated for Saturday.

The team is hoping for a flight later Saturday after as much as 10 inches of snow fell in Ohio overnight.

The same storm grounded the West Virginia women's team, forcing the Mountaineers to miss the annual Big East conference awards banquet in Hartford on Friday night.

The top-ranked UConn women play Sunday afternoon in a Big East tournament game in Hartford.

A lot of good games today
Yep... that shot by UCLA to take the lead with 1.5 seconds left was crazy!

For those that didn't see it... UCLA had the ball out of bounds underneath their own basket with 6 seconds left and inbounded to Josh Shipp who drove baseline and lofted a shot OVER the backboard... nothing but net.

Disgusting officiating in the last minute of the game.

Where to begin - the noncalls going on for the last 5 minutes?

Or the inbounds pass at which UCLA was intentionally fouling in order to send Cal to the line... which somehow turned into a noncall and then UCLA ball? Christ.

And then of course the shot that should be invalidated by college rules.

The fix was in, or there was some SERIOUS ineptitude.

Same refs from the Stanford game?
