What everyone thinks the message is: Nothing can stop love, or the will to survive.

What it actually is: Black people is dumb. The South shall rise again!

I don't know why so many people think it's such a great movie to begin with. It's even more puzzling as to why it's idolized.

The synthesizer music is enough to make me want to barf. Just because of that, the movie is incredibly painful to watch just to hear "Say hello to my lil friend!"

Someone should add "Thelma and Louise" to the list. People think it's a feminist epic about strong women when it's really about two female losers who make bad choices re: and get abused by men and are so traumatized that they quit on life and kill themselves.
