I for one love it that we are viewed as a "must have hat on the table." I have noticed many times when players put a Bama hat in the mix when I know they are not going there. The fact that we are brought up again and again by elite national recruits who probably are not coming here (Juju Smith, etc) is proof of what a great job this staff has done. We have a coach that has clearly positioned tOSU as one of a small handful of premier programs that should be included in the mix. This is not a given just because we have a very large fan base. Before Urban I can't recall being linked to nearly as many elite national players. Sometimes we will land these guys but we are always benefiting from the association.
