Tom "L" Brady (likes soft balls)

Patriots fans should be suspended for the first four games for acting like a bunch of sissies - UpRoxx

They need to act like they’ve been there before, especally since New England has been caught cheating more then any other fanbase in sports history that wasnt a East German womens track team coached by Jon Calipari. Hand the Ted Wells report back to league officals instead of playing lawyer, spiking it on the ground, and making this more about the name on the back of your season ticket invoice then the front. Heck, the Nazis did alot of bad stuff but even they owned up for there mistakes. If the Neuremburg trials had been a bunch of Patriot’s fans as defendants, they would of tried to dismiss the Russians as just being “haters,” and then spent weeks parsing the exact PSI levels of their cyanide capsules instead of just taking there medicine and admitting that their “team” had a sucessful 11-year run while doing alot of really horrible unethical things.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Comments are even better than the rant.

It’s a shame Simmons was fired. We could use a 75,000 word column that would somehow tie this into The Karate Kid, 86 Celtics, Death of Len Bias, The Ewing theory, the luckiest play in Super Bowl history, Saved By The Bell, the 88 Levels of Losing, his dad deciding to re up for Celtic tickets, the 2004 Red Sox and 86 years of Karmic baggage, Bucky Dent and his love of all things hip hop. NO ONE DENIES THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just when I think my sports year cannot get any better :rofl::rofl::rofl: Seriously, how can they bitch so much after being caught cheating so many times and finally receiving an ACTUAL punishment. Is the Ped State forum complex contagious? Does it travel by air from Happy Valley to New England? I think I have answered my own questions.

Players, coaches and owners always trip over themselves to say that pandering shit about what they'd sacrifice to win a Super Bowl. Now these people are posturing like four games and a million bucks is too steep. If the devil himself showed up in Foxboro and offered these terms to guarantee another trophy, to a man, they'd say "where do I sign?" Fighting these sanctions just shows unmitigated gall. There is no price that the Patriots or Tom Brady will be forced to pay that doesn't result in them still getting away with it. Just cop to it - you already got what you wanted. I never thought I'd use the words "intellectually honest" to describe somebody like Jameis Winston, but at least when he gets away with some shit he discards the pretense.

Meanwhile, Roger Goodell continues to be a horse's ass.

Fortunately, for somebody like me it doesn't have to be about one side versus the other. It's perfectly legitimate to root against all parties in this mess. The NFL is a farce - from the inside all the way out.

The NFLPA are becoming a joke as well. Lord if someone makes a legal hit is finned or suspended while some of their members get away with everything short of murder on the field never a peep is heard from them. However if you suspend someone too long for beatig women and childern or a lord all mighty for actual cheating. They go all in to protect that person/people. Brady and Craft are whining like a couple of spoilt children they got caught and were punished too harshly. Yet the proper punishment would have been to suspend him for the Superbowl. Ypou know that game they had no chance in hell of winning without him and won it cause the investigation took this long?

This all seems very Penn State to me.

Is it true their rebuttal included claiming they refered to someone as the "deflator" because he was trying to lose weight? I've seen that referenced on Twitter but don't care enough to read into it.

If true, that alone should disqualify every other dumbass excuse they've come up with.

I mean, you don't have to address everything in your rebuttal. Instead of coming up with such an incredibly stupid blatant lie that discredits everything else you have to say no matter how reasonable, maybe just let it ride and hope people don't focus on that?
