Doubly hilarious because over the years they've spoken of him in near-Hitlerian terms. Wanting him is stripping away their Xichiganesque sense of moral superiority. It's analogous to that "family values Christian" politician with a wife and five kids being unable to restrain himself from doing dudes half his age on the side.
The dude is losing it:
I heard that as well. I even went looking for a confirmation pic and was gonna post it, and basically say what you said. lmao Alas, I didn't find a pic.Zach Smith talked about this in his latest podcast. Said its something he's always done, but usually in the lockerroom before the team takes the field. Said Herman positions the guy's head/helmet perfectly, so it doesn't hurt him (I liken it to an obviously staged wrestling move - all about the appearance and no substance). Anyway, he said was a huge joke among the staff. He went on to say that when Herman and Vrabel were both on tOSU staff together, Herman was doing his headbutt performance before the ttun game one year - maybe 2014? Anyway, Vrabel couldn't bite his tongue any longer and shoved Herman out of the way and yelled at him "if you're going to do it, do it right!" and grabbed (I think he said Corey Linsley's) facemask and rammed his face/forehead straight into it. Of course, Vrabel's forehead splits wide open and he's spewing blood all over the place. He said if you go back and watch that game, Vrabel had a huge bandage on his forehead from it.
(For the record, Herman, Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M, Scott Frost at Nebraska, and Jim Harbaugh at The State Up North comprise the Mount Rushmore of "We are ALL-IN on this guy" head coaches.)
To be fair, nobody here had very nice things to say about Urban when he was kicking our ass.
It's funny how little fans really know about the guys that coach at schools other than ones' own.

True, but the guys on the Shag took it a few levels past where we ever did. We noted the player conduct issues at Florida (legitimate issue) and I, at least, didn't care for the smugness and drama (still don't honestly, but since he's our smug drama queen ...). I don't recall any of us saying that he was too scummy to ever be our coach, and the day JT was in trouble a lot of folks brought him up ASAP as the desired successor. Many of the Shag guys act like he taught Aaron Hernandez how to murder people, ran a dirty thug program at Ohio State (even w/o fan bias the record simply doesn't support that), joined in with Zach Smith as he beat up his wife, and is far too horrible a person to ever even be considered as a coaching candidate for Texas. Now, they're like, "Let's get Urban!" LMAO.
I’m pretty sure there were people here who claimed they wouldn’t want Meyer coaching the Bucks while he was torching the Bucks.True, but the guys on the Shag took it a few levels past where we ever did.
