Tom Herman (Former Head Coach FAU Owls)

The loss of Quinn Ewers is big; but shouldn't be devastating. Titty Bar Tom is like Harbaugh (i.e. supposed to be an offensive genius and a QB guru); there are numerous other great HS QBs out there and he should have been developing one. I think Ewers' decommitment reveals a couple bigger questions: Why did a Texas player decommit from the state's flag ship school? Is there something that he knows that the rest of us don't know about the school/coach?

This seems to be a trend at Texas:

HOW TO LOSE YOUR JOB. As much as I like to rag on Texas Tom, let's be real here – there's no shame in losing a prospect to Ohio State. It happens to everyone all across the country, and it's not like the Buckeyes don't have a strong Texas pipeline anyway.

However, losing the top overall player in the class (and two other players due to collateral damage) in part because you trashed him behind his back and made no effort to fix it... Yeah, that'll get you canned.

Crazy, it's 2020 and Tom Herman's still helping Ohio State with quarterback recruiting.

I'm guessing that if Texas could get Urban Meyer, Titty Bar Tom (TBT) would have already been gone. I'm under the belief that (fortunately for TBT) at this point in time Urban isn't interested in getting back into coaching, and his wife/family adamantly support that position.

Damn Herman is an arrogant ass, isn't he? Dogging a high school kid behind his back and then not owning up to it once he and his family found out about it? Classy....

Well, I don't recall anyone ever calling Titty Bar Tom classy.

You can't always believe everything you read on the internet these days; however, there has to be a reason that Ewers decommitted. If true, it makes you wonder that if Herman did question the player's ability (publicly) then why did Herman recruit him in the first place?

My thoughts too. I'm not buying that story. Why would he talk shit about his 5* QB?
