No soft batch cookies in this room
That's why this place is still the best around. Everyone doesn't always agree but at least conversations usually remain mostly civil. My hope is that most of the fanbase doesn't eat these sour grapes, but I know better.
No soft batch cookies in this room
Time will tell, but based on workout videos, I doubt the kid is a soft cookie. I do think that even with all the work that has to be done to be the best it is important to have some fun too and that it’s possible to be too calculated and “professional”. The OSU program does seem to strike the right balance most of the time from my bs view, and the reporting is probably bs, but if it’s accurate, I don’t think DGG’s perception makes him “soft”.
Just because he wasn't "feeling the vibe" as the kids say, doesn't mean he's soft by any stretch. He's a 17 year old and this is likely his first real life-altering decision. As the Common Idiot says on 97.1, let him live.OSU coaches wanted him badly. If he is “soft” then they had misjudged his character badly, no?
This. He surrounded himself with certain people that helped make this whole recruitment "circus like" down the stretch. I wish him nothing. But also I agree OSU will be fine. I'm just ready to move this thread....I think sour grapes are fun. I think taking the high road is boring.
You should also be reasonable about what you post on the internet for the world to see, but the reverse side of that coin is that a lot of the “I wish him the best” public facing statements are virtue signaling.
I wish him nothing and think he made a bad decision. I will be interested to see if his poor decision has ramifications for him down the road.
