Why do people hate Hansborough (sp?) so much? It boggles my mind, the kid constantly plays his heart out, doesn't talk trash and is a classy kid. If his name was JJ Redick Jr., I can see why. But as decorated as a player as TH is, there is no reason for him to be so disliked. It would have been nice for the B10 to bring home the championship, but I was happy for TH to win it. Congrats Tar Heels!!

ESPN thinks the B10 are just a league of losers because we don't win championships every year.

I'm thinking that the Big 10 has their own TV network, NBC owns ND, CBS the SEC so you pump what you own. In the case of ESPN it's the Big East and the ACC so they spread their love there in both revenue sports.

I don't like him or hate him but I'll admit to being really annoyed by the perpetual "I'm about to get hit by a train" look on his face every time they show a close up of his mug.

Question: How was the broadcast? Specifically. Was there a ridiculous amount of Herbie-like knob schlobbing by Kellogg and Nance? Or was Kellogg his usual professional self?

I love Tyler's hustle, his rebounding and the way he runs the floor.

I love the fact that when he tries to dunk from the middle of the paint and usually ends up firing a missle at the back of the rim that ends up in the 4th row of the stands (I'm sure if I was a UNC fan - this would make me furious).

I love the fact that he's probably seen 2/3rds of the UNC co-ed base on their knees.


I hate his jump hook - which he starts from his waist.

great environment, enjoyable to watch the upperclassman at unc win the title. ive been to double digit number of final fours (some both days some only one day) and i like the venue a lot. big but my seats "sucked" but werent all that bad... ive been to the kingdome, superdome, metrodome etc for the final four and this was a better seating. better than the carrier dome or rca dome for basketball.

Are your referring to the dunk attempt on Griffin in the tourny(or that you are mouthing him)? I thought it was hilarious. At least he tried to show that he wasn't afraid of taking it at the best player in the country, even if he failed miserably.

What shot that he takes doesn't start or end not very far from his waist? Most of his shots may be ugly but it is damn effective for him.

NC was just awesome last night against MSU. They were very solid in execution and fundamentals in the first half and I can't think of anyone who could have beat them.

Just got back from Ohio actually, as a Tar Heel fan this was definately an enjoyable moment.

It's great to see Tyler get his ring and it's also great to send Ellington and Lawson out with a title as well. At this point I could care less about how we are going to do next year (Which is already the favorite saying of Duke fans in the past 24 hours), we are on top of the college basketball world right now.
