Bottom line: if Duke (or anyone else) plays tOSU, I'm rooting hard and loud for the Buckeyes. But I have a lot of respect for what Coach K has accomplished in Durham. He's done a lot for the university, and I'm thankful.

I don't know how anyone can read that anti-Duke manifesto, concede its accuracy, and still say that they've got a lot of respect for what Coach K has done in Durham.

If you had offspring who attended the university and took advantage of the athletic and recreational facilities that his efforts have funded, you'd understand. The non-revenue sports (which my kid participated in) have first-rate support thanks to K.

Besides, that "manifesto" contained mostly stuff that could be leveled against pretty much any major sports program.

Why do people grow this piece of trash facial hair? If you can't grow it, don't. It looks fucking ridiculous in a bad way and never helps you do anything better.
