I guess I never fully understood the West Coast Offense until today and I do not like it. Never throw the ball more than 10-15 yards down the field. Pretty hard to stretch the defense no matter how fast our receivers. Wonder what's up with Peyton... perhaps his contract or maybe he is still a little bit under the weather.

I thought we had made some inroads this season and this game made me feel like we were playing last year all over again:(

It isn't so much the "system" as it is personnel and play calling.

Should have ran Hillis more early on. As the game got worse, we had to throw the ball more.

Getting cute on 3rd down is really beginning to piss me off though. I like McCoy. He can be a decent QB. He's not the weakest link on the team, but once we get the questions on the Oline, WR, LB and another CB solved - something tells me his days in Cleveland will be numbered.

Not a single playmaker on the entire offensive roster. Not one. Hillis is a good back, and Hardesty has potential, but neither is a gamebreaker. We're stuck with a bunch of #3/#4 WRs. In short, the offense is going to suck until they get a homerun threat that defenses have to respect. I really wish we had Julio Jones right now. Phil Taylor has been pretty solid, but watching this offense flail around is painful. :!

What the fuck was up with the backs? Hillis was in there so little even the commentators were wondering aloud if he had pissed someone off. And it's not like Hardesty was exactly lighting it up in there...he dropped so many passes I thought we had re-traded for Braylon. Suppose they aren't using Hillis as much to keep his contract demands down or something? Hard to figure.

IMO, Pat Shurmur is trying to show Hillis up saying "We don't need you in my West Coast offense" and refusing to game plan for the players we have, but instead game planning for how he likes to call plays. Fucking idiot. You have the most BAMF bruising back in the league and he totes the rock 10 times? TEN?! Not to mention 5 of them were on the first drive which just so happened to be our best drive of the fucking game.

God it's frustrating. Give the coverboy the fucking ball, that's what the fans want to see and it just so happens to work when you do. He's your best player, so use the mother fucker. I don't care if you have Jerry Rice, Cris Carter, and Randy Moss at WR - you don't win the AFC north by throwing the ball 60+ times in a game you stupid son of a bitch.
