It would be nice getting a guy that that we probley would not have to worry about all the off-field issues like seem to be a weekly occurance as of late. From the looks of the vids the dude can play. I want him to be a buckeye. Can anyone confirm if he has been offered? And if not, why?

Go Buckeyes!

Mike
The staff has the luxury of being stingy on QB offers this year...

Tim discusses Nease's pursuit of a state title in baseball as the Panthers are only two games away from a title. As for football, Tim discusses his interest in USC, Michigan, NC State, Florida, and Florida State.

You don't think theres a difference between a coach at a high profile division I school swearing and players swearing?
In this case no, if he doesn't like swearing, he wouldn't like it wherever it's coming from, whether it's his coach or his teammates.

I really wouldn't read too much this cursing thing, his coach right now swears left and right, and his family doesn't seem to have too much of a problem with it.

I won't mess with someone's beliefs or values, but if TT thinks he can find a school that is devoid of cursing, whether it be from his coaches or his teammates, then I wish him the best of luck. Just because his suitors sweeten it up on visits, or players wisen up and say gosh dang, then i would feel sorry for the guy when he gets to the real world. There are a lot of people who are very much turned off by cursing (my family included) but are not so naive to think that it's not gonna be a part of everyday life. Funny stuff if you ask me. "We don't give a DAMN for the whole state of ..." see, this is where I draw the line...it's a joke people...

I think the point was he didn't like the swearing coming from the guy who was in charge.

Just to clarify, there's a difference between a coach who swears from time to time and one that berates players all day long with profanity and negativity. I'm sure Tim realizes coaching will be harsh at times, I would bet he just didn't like the overall attitude of Meyer at UF, IMO. Basically there's a difference between a coach that is all about negative reinforcement and one that balances chewing you out and praising you.

Not that you couldn't tell by his bench press numbers and how he drove piles forward after contact in his videos, but that kid is absolutely ripped. wow!

It's very possible that he did not connect with Meyer and his coaching staff, but to say cursing is the reason sounds somewhat unlikely to me. As for always being negative, I'm sure you didn't mean Meyer because he deals out praises just as often as criticism. It's just that many other coaches almost never publicly criticize players that it seems as if all Meyer does is criticize.

I would bet he wasn't fond of the cursing, and didn't connect with the coaching staff overall like you suggested. The cursing rumor may just have been one thing he didn't like rather than the reason he is looking elsewhere.

Bob Tebow says the most important factors in Tim's decison will be his potential coaches..namely the Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Quarterback Coach. Mr. Tebow also said people need to stop believing everything on the internet concerning his son's recruitment and he is wide open to all schools right now.

Until we have a QB have some NFL success this stigma will always be attached to OSU, I don't think however that that is why Mark Sanchez chose USC over us. As everyone knows it's hard to get any top rated Cali kids away from USC now (except Marlon Lucky). If Sanchez would have been from anywhere in the midwest I would bet he is a buckeye. Tebow is a real mystery right now seems like everyone thinks he's going to there school (UM, UF, Miami) but no one knows for sure what he's doing. I wish we would offer to see if he has any real interest in us or not.
