just rented this game, yes some people still rent ....about to try it out soon
I'd argue the opposite is the foolish way, unless Blockbuster has gone out of business near you. There are only a few titles worth $60. The rest are perfect for a $20/mo plan once or twice a year, particularly with the freedom to try out titles like NBA Jam that lose their appeal after 20 minutes.

Gamefly doesn't work because settling for old games is worthless. Renting 6-12 month old movies is fine, since you likely already chose to wait when it was showing in theaters.

Renting 12-18 month old titles is just not worth it.

Well I just won The Masters at -8...after a 72-70 the first two rounds, I shot a 68 on Saturday to take a 2 shot lead into Sunday. Came in on Sunday with a 70 and won by 2 shots. I was pretty nervous on 16 tee box. I had a 17mph wind going from right to left (towards the water), up two shots. Like I said earlier, I play a fade, and I just didn't know where that ball was going to end up. I put the shot about 15 ft past the hole (thank god the hole wasnt longer otherwise it may have been wet) and made par. But when the ball was in the air I was sweating bullets.

Awesome being able to see and play the shots the pros do at some of those pins. I know I was very nervous all throughout my Sunday round. I think EA captured Augusta very, very well.

Made it to the Masters after winning all 3 tourneys before Augusta. Not so lucky there. My putting was abysmal, I probably 3 putt close to 25-30 times during the week. I ended up shooting +7 for the tourney, never breaking 72. Wow.

so, I think I need to bump the difficulty up, I just shot a -10 and a -11 on tpc scottsdale for a -21 overall and won by 18 strokes, I didn't make one bogey in those 2 rds

what difficulty do you guys use? and do you use any of those putting assists? (like the green circle that gets shown showing you a general area of where you need to aim)

I play Tour Pro with the Move only (no analog controllers for me). I don't use any focus, and in tour pro you have no extra spin or boost. So my caddy gives me that general putt aim circle, which is quite large, and I judge where in the circle to aim and the speed. Like I said a few pages back, I am averaging 1.5 putts per hole. To me, I'm getting realistic play and it's rewarding but if I mishit a shot, I do have to scramble a bit

My dad was asking me today if this game is available for the PC. I told him I didn't know. Anyone play on their computer?

not available on PC. They have an online game for PC's. It costs money every round you play. They used to have free rounds each week, but I don't think that is the case anymore. They also don't have Augusta. It's not that great, and they haven't done a release of Tiger Woods on PC in about 4 years.
