On that topic, how in THE Hell does Billy "the mullett" Ray Cyrus' daughter have a sellout concert tour. I'd rather funnel a nest of earwigs into my ear canal than listen to that crap.

My 8 year old daughter physically attacked me for making fun of Hannah Montana.

She's thirteen dude. No one is hot at thirteen, unless you are 12-14 yourself.

Both of my daughters absolutely love Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. And pretty much every other show on Disney Channel. They also have a fascination with the Jonas Bros., Drake and Josh, and The Naked Brothers Band.

I lived through the age as my daughter dragged home Michale Jackson albums. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. They do grow out of it.

The new multi-platform media venture will be designed to entertain, inform and inspire people to live their best lives. OWN will debut in 2009 in more than 70 million homes, on what is currently the Discovery Health Channel. The venture will also include the award-winning digital platform, Oprah.com.

"Fifteen years ago, I wrote in my journal that one day I would create a television network, as I always felt my show was just the beginning of what the future could hold," said Oprah Winfrey, who will serve as chairman of OWN. "For me, the launch of The Oprah Winfrey Network is the evolution of the work I've been doing on television all these years and a natural extension of my show."
