Thanks for the link. I'll look you guys up and in the meantime will buy some kit. Do you coach the backline? I'm playing 10 for the first time this weekend. Any tips/links you might have would be great.wadc45 said:http://www.osurugby.com
Home games are 10/2 against the Louisville Men, 10/9 against Michigan State, and 10/30 against Indiana University. Training is every Tuedsay, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:00 PM at the practice fields on Cannon. Games are on the fields on the corner of Lane and Kenny. Let me know when you are planning on coming out...
that's pretty funny...yeah, I work with the backs. it's funny because I was a flanker my entire college career until my senior year I moved to flyhalf out of necessity (what a debacle). after college, I quickly went back to wing forward. I guess I would have two pieces of advice...take the ball off set pieces moving forward. too many times our 10 and 12 take the ball off of lineouts and scrums standing still and are just sitting targets. then, just pound away at their 12 or 13...whoever is weaker! at least you know you probably won't have to take as much of a pounding playing fly...RugbyBuck said:Thanks for the link.
