Our shelties are smarter than some humans I know.. I have one (a 2 yr old agility bred) now that is scary smart.. and the smallest sheltie (Max) we ever had was the smartest animal I have ever been around... Border Collie smart... Max had a tonal vocab himself.. depending on the bark nuance we learned what he wanted... He trained us...
The German Shepherds we had deserved their accolades for smarts, protectiveness and fearlessness

And there are a couple breeds known for being dumber than scUM QBs.. I resist mentioning them in case BPers may have those breeds... albeit they already know it...

There are articles that draw correlations between breeds and the size of their vocabularies.. that's where I read a couple breeds know 200 words

Oh no.. these are breeds you wouldn't see in the ghetto... but after one pup of a very close friend ate a pair of $400 spiked Italian heels of a girl he had overnight... he read the riot act and 2 days later it destroyed his $500 couch... an expensive breed... dumber than dirt

but there are dumber

generally they are bigger animals..
