Thing To Do With Your Kids

I saw some Jiffey-Pop today at the store and made it over the stove with the kids and they thought it was cool as all they have ever had was micro-wave popcorn!

Any other interesting things to do with your kids....

The little popcorn machine that you plug in with the little spout at the top that you put a bowl under.. now that thing was awesome.
That thing sucked. I had one, and the force of the air was so strong that it blew the popcorn all over the place. I had to start aiming it into a paper bag so I could catch it all.

Any other interesting things to do with your kids....
Hmm.... How do you suppose Michael Jackson would answer that?

I had a couple favorite games growing up.

The first involved two or three players. One player was designated as the hitter, and was provided with pen and paper. The hitter would then write a secret number between 1 and 100 on their piece of paper. Once the number was written the other players would attempt to guess the number. However far off the other players were from the secret number was the number of punches they received. Turn to hit rotated each round.

The second was for two human players and one 90lb. formally trained German Shepherd, one of whom must have complete control over the dog. The game was normally played indoors. The player with control of the dog would secure the animal while allowing it to see the other player sprint away to another part of the house. Once the latter player had himself sufficiently hidden, the other player would release the dog. The game was over when the dog found the hidden player.

Enjoy!

Start running them in to things. Make em mean. Especially the boys. Builds charecter...

More seriously, my kids and I had a real hoot (cheese term intentional) making a plaster cast of their hands and feet. Took a cardboard box, cut it up, made it look like a heart. Poured sand in the heart, had the kids put their prints in the sand, and then poured the plaster on the sand. Wait (ran them in to things) and then viola, big gift for mom (certain sex for dad)

I have access to professional poppers so my kids know what real popcorn tastes like :) but... I know it's more the time spent popping the corn than anything else :). I love to just sit on the floor and wrestle with mt boys. They are almost 2.5 so they won't sit still for long for any kind of projects. I sit in front of the TV and they try to get by me to turn it off. I'll grab them and throw them on the couch before they get to the button... they love it. Every now and then I let them get to the button... they laugh like crazy because they beat me... it makes my day.

LOKY- Forgot you have twins boys as I do...

As they get older the wrestling with flying leaps off the couch when you are laying on the floor and are not expecting it really hurt!

Goonies hmm have to ask about that one ....

We have alot of sleepovers where the 3 boys and I sleep in the family room and stay up late BS at watch some TV. Works for Mom as well as she gets to go to sleep right away  and gets the bed to herself!

The boys love this site as they boot me off and get on the Arcade ! Some fish game they like.
