I really liked the first two seasons but haven't seen anything since. I have it downloaded on my computer and plan on catching up but I just started the second season of Prison Break so it will have to wait until I finish that.

Prison Break is getting a TON of twists and turns. You will enjoy it.

I've recently got into "The Wire". Seasons 1 & 3 were unbelievable. Season 2was pretty good as well, but weaker than the others IMO. I haven't seen season 4 yet.

Another great show is "The Shield". It is probably my favorite TV show of all time. I cannot wait until season 6 which starts on Tuesday!

Season Four was probably the best since the first season. I love the show and can't wait for Season Five. I think it might be awhile though. Dayton, it looks like the Greeks will once again be involved in the fifth season, at least that's what it looks like by the end of season 4. So you may get your answer then. But IIRC, the informant was an FBI asset, but it's been awhile since I've seen any of those episodes. HBO needs to start re-airing the old episodes starting from the begininng.

You're right, I forgot about that. I have seen an episode or two on there, and the edit jobs really aren't that bad. 'Fuck' is the only word that they cut out, as far as I can tell all other cursing is fair game, and there never was a ton of nudity on the show anyhow. I just hate having commercials break it up though (no I don't have a DVR :( )

I am a big fan of The Wire-season 4 was excellent. Stringer Bell was one of the best villians ever,IMO, and Prospect Joe is a unique character as well. Hopefully McNulty will get back in the game for Season 5.

Stringer and Avon Barksdale both were a couple of the coolest villain-heroes ever put on film, and Omar was always fun to watch as a wild-card too (his scenes with Brother Mouzone were practically epic). I can't think of another show that ever had as many relevant characters in a single season as "The Wire", with all its overlapping storylines. Can't wait for Season 4 to hit DVD.

So HBO on Demand aired Seasons 1 - 4 for the past 4 months leading up to Season 5, and I watched them, all. This show is amazing. It has about a million characters and I like how they focus on a different theme each season.

HBO releases the new episodes on Demand a week in advance of its normal airing, and I've seen the first 2 episodes of Season 5. Is anyone else watching? It's only supposed to be 10 episodes long, so there shouldn't be too much excess fat this season. Oh, and McNulty is back after taking somewhat of a hiatus last season, which is good for entertainment value.
