So how does the series end?

Tony goes into the Witness Protection Program/is arrested?
Tony goes 'Tony Montana' and dies in a shoot out with law enforcement/feds?
Tony is whacked by a member of "the family"?
Tony is whacked by a family member (Carmella, etc ...)?
Other?

I think after watching last night's episode, they opened the door to Bobby turning on Tony. Either by whacking or by way of turning rat. When his shirt was ripped off after capping that guy, I could easily have seen some hairs being pulled out and with Bobby talking about DNA evidence earlier in the episode, could be some foreshadowing. All in all, I agree, not a bad episode.

I said for a few seasons that I would love to see it all end with just Tony And Silvio sitting in front of the pork store... it would be after taking care of a major problem like a rat or a witness... or even some FBI guys. Just business as usual.

That would be cool-Christopher is definitely on the fast train to whacksville, what w/ Tony blowing him off like that. I think Janice and Bobby will have some sort of violent confrontation w/ one of them ending up dead after Bobby betrays Tony somehow. I hope AJ gets busted for something and prison raped-I cannot stand him!

A few years ago, I got to meet a number of the characters in real life... Here's my take of them...

Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts) is NOT acting.. In real life, he is exactly the character he portrays... He'd screw any female that can breath... anywhere... A true street thug persona... but with an aire of classiness...

Aida Turtrurro (Janice) is NOT acting.. this is one strange and wild ass woman.. completely a whack job...

Drea de Matteo (Adriana).. no idea what she is like because I was totally mesmerized by her looks.. this was one stunning lady... so much foxier than her TV role.. wears (very classy) clothes as tight as any woman I've ever seen... and wears them flawlessly...

Michael Imperioli (Christopher Moltisanti) has to be one the finest actors that exists.. because he is so mild and well mannered... so soft spoken... so articulate... that you couldn't believe he would ever curse or even get mad at anything... let alone harm it... an absolute total gentleman...

Edie Falco (Carmella).. my gay-dar meter was blaring... most likely seen with men as a PR cover-up only... but is a monster animal lover

Lorraine Bracco (Dr Melfi) thinks she is the shit... very full of herself... couldn't stand her...

John Ventimiglia (Artie) thinks he is the shit too... on any pieces signed by the whole cast... his signature is twice the size of any other... including Gandolfini...

Did not meet James Gandolfini but he is talked about by the other cast members in the utmost respect... both personally and professionally...

I was wondering that too....I was really surprised when he also dropped the gun.

I kinda wonder if this still isn't some part of a dream for Tony. Like maybe he'll get picked up for a RICO trial and right as they are announcing the verdict, he wakes up and all of a sudden it's the first season again :biggrin:

Great ending on last nights episode. A good indicator of things to come. I imagined it would take this route, but I was a little confused with Phil LeoTardo talking about stepping down.

Should be an interesting ending...the gloves are officially off in my opinion from here on out.

For sure. I was not surprised by Phil seeming he was going to step down, just in that I remember him laying in the hospital bed and Tony telling him to enjoy his family/grandchildren, etc when he got out. That is what it appeared he was going to do. Not any more. I agree that it looks like he is ready to establish himself as the boss, and do it in a way that there will be no question. From there I see him setting his sights on Tony and the NJ family. It should start getting real interesting starting next week. The bodies are going to start piling up I have a feeling and not just the soldiers you see sporadically over the season, some main guys. It will also be interesting to see what happens with Paulie starting next week. It appeared from the previews that Tony is going to test his loyalty. Which I think he will do with pretty much everyone from here on out. His suspicions about Christopher have him questioning everyone's loyalty.

Very solid episode last night. It was interesting the way the hit in the restaurant happened from Sil's perspective, getting blood splattered on his face before noticing the gunman or hearing the shot.

Things are definitely heating up. Chris isn't dead yet, but he shouldn't bother buying any green bananas.

The hit scene was awesome, agreed.

Tony won't be the one to get Chris.. not yet at least..

Phil made his move at boss, it'll be interesting to see what happens since he's still obsessed with tony b killing his brother

Anyone think the 'doctor' with johnny sac is a fed or informant?

whos body did they find? and who left it? richie aprio? tony b? ade?

one of the better episodes i've seen in awhile
